Let’s Finish the Advanced Inner Loop this Weekend!

The inner loop has been completely rough cut and raked. Now it is time for the rouge hoes!!

Hello Cape Fear SORBA. Another wonderful weekend is nearly upon us and with it comes 2 more Brunswick Workdays. However before we get to the workdays themselves some news you might want to know. Thanks to the hard work of all our trail building volunteers we expect that with a good turnout this weekend we could be nearly FINISHED with the inner loop of the advanced trail at the Brunswick Nature Park!! Thats right you heard me! FINISHED! So if you are going to come out and work please do it this weekend!
Also, we have trail building rewards to! Thanks to IMBA’s partnership with CST tires Cape Fear SORBA has aquired 3 massive boxes of tires for us to give away to our trailbuilders! How do you get them? Well we havn’t quite decided that, but one thing is certain. If you don’t come and help during trail building you won’t qualify to get any!
Now then on to this weekends workdays!
Saturday May 19th
Come work with trail boss President Greg Brinson starting at 7am! Meet at the end of the dirt road near the entrance to the advanced loop. Work will continue on the inner loop of the advanced trail. Please bring bug spray, proper clothing, and plenty of water. Tools will be provided by Cape Fear SORBA.
Sunday May 20th
Come work with our new Vice President Will as he starts work at 7am as well! Meet at the end of the dirt road near the entrance to the advanced loop. Work will continue on the inner loop of the advanced trail. Please bring bug spray, proper clothing, and plenty of water. Tools will be provided by Cape Fear SORBA.
Remember folks, with good turnouts we could have this section complete! That will mean we are one step closer to being able to build some man made obstacles and start really getting creative with the trails! You can RSVP at our meetup.com page or just come out!
